How to Reach Frostcrag Spire in Oblivion Remastered: A Mountainous Trek

Frostcrag Spire is located directly east of Bruma, in the northern region of Cyrodiil. It sits atop Gnoll Mountain, at the edge of the Jerall Mountain Range. While there isn't a paved road leading directly to it, a hidden dirt path will guide you if you know where to look:

Start East of Bruma: Begin your journey at the edge of the main road located east of the city of Bruma.

Follow the Dirt Path: Look for a dirt path that winds its way up the mountainside. This is your route to Frostcrag Spire.

Overcoming the Steep Climb: As the path becomes steeper, your character's movement speed will be drastically reduced. To move more quickly, either ride a horse or repeatedly jump while sprinting.

The Gnoll Mountain Campsite: Continue climbing, and you'll eventually reach a small campsite. This campsite features a lit campfire, a tent, and a bedroll. This location also serves as the Gnoll Mountain fast travel marker, which you'll appreciate on future trips.

The Path to the Spire: From the campsite, Frostcrag Spire will be visible in the distance. A path near the campfire leads directly to it.

Unlocking Fast Travel: Once you reach Frostcrag Spire, you will unlock a fast-travel marker, making future visits significantly easier and quicker.

How to Unlock All Frostcrag Spire Sections in Oblivion Remastered: Furnishing Your Tower

Initially, Frostcrag Spire's facilities are locked and unusable. To activate them, you must purchase house upgrades from Aurelinwae at the Mystic Emporium in the Market District of the Imperial City. There are six upgrades in total:

Frostcrag Bedroom Area	1500+ Gold	Adds a bed for resting in the living area, as well as a storage chest for secure item keeping.
Frostcrag Library Area	1500+ Gold	Adds bookshelves filled with books to the main level of the spire, providing a touch of scholarly ambiance.
Frostcrag Vault Area	1500+ Gold	Adds numerous chests and containers throughout the spire, offering ample and secure storage space for your accumulated treasures and equipment.
Magetallow Candles Box x1	3200+ Gold	Activates the Altar of Enchanting on the main level. This allows you to imbue your weapons and armor with magical properties.
Magetallow Candles Box x1	3200+ Gold	Activates the Altar of Spellmaking on the main level. This powerful altar allows you to create your owncustom spells, tailoring your magical abilities to your specific needsand playstyle.

Haggling for a Better Price: You can typically haggle with Aurelinwae to reduce the price of these upgrades by approximately 200-300 Gold each, saving you a significant amount of money in the long run.

Permanent Altar Functionality: Once the Altars of Enchanting and Spellmaking are activated by purchasing a Magetallow Candles Box for each, they will remain permanently functional. You will not need to purchase additional Magetallow Candles Boxes in the future.

The Atronach Altar: While not directly tied to the six main upgrades, Frostcrag Spire also features the Atronach Altar. This unique altar allows you to summon a permanent elemental Atronachcompanion (Fire, Frost, or Void) in exchange for three of thecorresponding elemental salts (Fire Salts, Frost Salts, or Void Salts).This provides a valuable and loyal ally to aid you in your adventures.
