How to Get Purgeblood Salts in Oblivion Remastered:

Purgeblood Salts are exclusively obtained by interacting with Purgeblood Crystal Formations. There are only three such formations in the entire game, and they are all located within Deepscorn Hollow, an underwater player home accessible through the Vile Lair DLC.

Locating the Purgeblood Crystal Formations:

  • Access Deepscorn Hollow: Ensure you have the Vile Lair DLC installed and have completed the initial quest to gain ownership of Deepscorn Hollow, located southeast of Leyawiin.
  • Navigate to the Deepscorn Cloister: From the main large, empty chamber where you initially find the book within Deepscorn Hollow, turn left to find the door leading to the Deepscorn Cloister. Enter this area.
  • Find the Font of Renewal: Upon entering the Deepscorn Cloister, turn left again. A short corridor will lead you to a room containing a large pool of water with a distinctive white pillar in the center – this is the Font of Renewal.
  • Locate the Rock Formation: Look at the left corner of this chamber (the Font of Renewal room). You will see a large rock formation.
  • Interact with the Crystal Formations: All three Purgeblood Crystal Formations are embedded within this rock formation. Simply approach and interact with each formation to harvest Purgeblood Salts.
  • Respawn Rate: The Purgeblood Salts within the Purgeblood Crystal Formations will respawn after 3 days of in-game time, providing a renewable source of this cure.

    • How to Cure Vampirism Using Purgeblood Salts:

    Once you have obtained Purgeblood Salts, curing your vampirism is straightforward:

  • Locate the Font of Renewal: Return to the room with the large pool of water and the white pillar (the Font of Renewal) within Deepscorn Hollow.
