You're right, Bethesda didn't include a straightforward, in-game method to remove custom-crafted spells in Oblivion Remastered. Once woven into the fabric of your character's knowledge, they remain. For PC players, however, the powerful console commands offer a potential, albeit somewhat involved, solution to declutter your spell list.Important Reminder: Be aware that using console commands in Oblivion Remastered will disable achievements for your current playthrough. Steps to Delete Spells via Console Commands (PC Only):

Launch Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered: Boot up the game and load your desired save.

Open the Console: Once you are in the world of Cyrodiil, press the Tilde key (~) on your keyboard to open the game's console.

Initiate Spell List Saving: Type the following command into the console and press Enter:

save spellclean 1

This command instructs the game to create a new text file containinginformation about your custom spells in your game's directory.

Navigate to the Game Directory: Locate the newly created text file. The path to this file will depend on your game installation:

• Standard Installation: OblivionRemastered\Binaries\Win64
• Xbox Game Pass: XboxGames\The Elder Scrolls IV- Oblivion Remastered\Content\OblivionRemastered\Binaries\WinGDK

Open the "spellclean" Text File: Open the text file you just found.

Search for "Total SPEL": Within the text file, scroll or use the "Find" function (Ctrl+F) to locate the line that reads "Total SPEL".

Identify Your Custom Spell Names: Below the "Total SPEL" line, you should see a list of your custom spell names. These might appear in a somewhat cryptic format, potentiallyresembling UI_UserInputText_.....

Return to the Game and Use player.removespell: Go back to your Oblivion Remastered game. For each spell name you wantto identify, use the following console command, replacing [SpellID] with the corresponding spell name from the text file:

player.removespell [SpellID]

Example: If you see a spell name like UI_UserInputText_0000000A in the text file, you would try:

player.removespell UI_UserInputText_0000000A

Repeat the Identification Process: Keep using the player.removespell command with each custom spell name from the text file until youidentify the spell you wish to delete. You'll likely see an in-gamenotification when a spell is successfully removed.

Remove the Spell ID from the Text File: Once you have identified the correct spell ID and removed the spell in-game, go back to the "spellclean" text file and delete the corresponding line containing that spell ID. This step is important for future attempts to clean your spell list.

Reload Your Save: After removing the spell ID from the text file, reload your game save. The deleted spell should now be gone from your spell list.
