PUBG Corp: $920 million in 2018 revenue

The Asian market would have estimated that the original PC version of the game had won around $ 712 million worldwide during its first eight months in 2017, something that if true would have been a pretty small sifra.

Although if we compare that figure that has allegedly raised the Fortnite Battle Royale which is estimated at 2.4 billion dollars in revenue only in 2018.

According to the PUBG Corp report, most of its revenue comes from the East, the Korean markets and Asia in general, and it is expected to continue increasing as the company implements its esports plans in China later this year. but it is also a cause for concern. Both the mobile version and the desktop version of their game have been subject to prohibition claims by some governments.

Governments like the one in Nepal that put the ban on the PUBG Battle Royale on April 11 by the Supreme Court but was recently lifted because it did not have the necessary arguments to support the measure and to attempt against the freedom of expression of its citizens.

The government of Iraq has also taken the same measure with both PUBG and Fortnite, because it could corrupt young people by causing them to take hostile behaviors, as well as indignantly neglecting their studies.

But recently Oxford conducted a study in which the results showed that video games did not really influence or have anything to do with violent behavior in young people.
