PS4 UPDATE 6.51: Still No Option To Change PSN Online IDs

In the previous update we were able to see the 720p video option when transmitting with Niconico Live, and also gave support for button assignment for "login" operations.

Update 6.51 should be the option to change your PSN ID online that Sony promised us would arrive in early 2019, that's what he said last year.

This is a tangible but half-hearted fact, it's now possible to change the online PSN ID if it's part of the PlayStation Preview Program, but it's still open beta. This Sony has said that once the update is definitely activated, users can make their first name change for free, but later will have a cost of $ 5, for PlayStation Plus subscribers, the rest will have to pay 10 dollars.

Sony also said that this has been something easy to achieve, so they will remain attentive to the development in case they come to present an error.

Keep in mind that Not all PS4, PS3 and PS Vita games are guaranteed to be compatible with them, so some errors may arise with your PSN online ID for games that have been released before April 1. of 2018.

But in case of problems they have also implemented an option to go back to the previous update if you wish.
