To craft Armor Trims in Minecraft, you will need a Smithing Template and a piece of ore or other material. The Smithing Template is available in various chests found in Woodland Mansions, Desert Pyramids, Strongholds, and the latest snapshot of the Ancient City. You can also find Trim Smithing Templates in Shipwrecks, Bastion Remnants, Ocean Monuments, Pillager Outposts, and Java Editions of Minecraft.

Once you have the Smithing Template and the ore or material, place the Smithing Template in the first Slot of the Crafting Table, followed by the Armor and the ore or material in the third Slot. When the process is complete, the Trim will appear in the Slot on the Right side, with a preview of the upgraded Gear. Click on the Right side Slot to attach the Trim to the Armor and you’re done!
