This time we return with a guide with the objective of explaining to you How To Unlock The 'The Incarnate In The Woods' Bounty in Metaphor ReFantazio.
The Incarnate in the Woods' is one of the last rewards in Metaphor ReFantazio. It forces you to confront Ordemos, Grudge's Fang in the Abandoned Path, a woodland located just south of Altabury. While this monster, like other bounties, might be challenging for those who aren't well-prepared, we've got you covered with all the information you need.
How To Unlock The 'The Incarnate In The Woods' Bounty in Metaphor ReFantazio
Unlock the 'The Incarnate in the Woods' bonus at any Recruitment Centre on 9/26. You have one month to finish this reward if you take it as soon as it becomes unavailable, and there is no deadline. Making it to the Endless Way will need a full two days of travel.
Journey Prep
For 3,500 reeve, you can buy information on the Giant of the Abandoned Path from the Informant in the Skyward Tavern in Altabury Heights. Alternately, you may read this guide and save some money.
Not only should you always have healing items on hand, but you should also avoid weapons with electric affinities and, since Ordemos can inflict Daze, maybe pack some Panacea.
Suggested Party Arranging
While this prize isn't very difficult, there are plenty of other options for party composition; nonetheless, we've detailed our preferred arrangement and the reasoning behind it below.
Protagonist: Prince/Seeker Lineage/Healer Lineage
- Role: Support
- Recommended Skills: Patra, Dekunda, Medica
- Reasoning: A healer is essential for your party, and any Archetype with the right inherited skills can fill this role.
Frontline: Dark Knight/Any
- Role: Tank
- Recommended Pairing: Thief, Healer
- Reasoning: Dark Knight can effectively tank, and pairing with Thief and Healer unlocks the Peerless Shadow Synthesis Skill, a powerful Dark attack.
Backline: Thief Lineage/Warlock
- Role: Dark Magic Dealer
- Recommended Pairing: Gunner, Masked Dancer, Beserker (for Godkiller Synthesis Skill) or Healer/Seeker, Mage, Masked Dancer, Summoner, Warrior, Thief, Masked Dancer (for various Dark magic Synthesis Skills)
- Reasoning: Thief and Warlock offer Dark magic abilities and can unlock powerful Synthesis Skills when paired with specific Archetypes.
Damage Dealer: Any Damage Dealer Archetype
- Role: Damage
- Recommended Focus: Dark Magic
- Reasoning: Avoid Electric magic and Slash/Pierce/Strike damage, as Ordemos is resistant to these. Any damage-dealing Archetype can work, but focusing on Dark magic is ideal.
For optimal performance, equip yourself with items that are resistant to Electric magic and Dark affinity.
In order to have Ordemos, Grudge's Fang, and other monsters ready to fight in the Abandoned Path, you must first eliminate Rigopetia. Just defeat three of the four enemies marked on your map to trigger an automated confrontation with Ordemos.

Details for both the Rigopetia and Ordemos may be found here, as you must defeat three of them before Ordemos will arrive.

- Strike: Hit, attack, or deliver a blow

- Slam Shatter: Deals physical damage to all allies.
- Earsplitting Shriek: Can stun an opponent.
- Hellbound: Inflicts physical damage on a single ally.
- Fiery Strike: Deals fire-based physical damage to a single ally.
Combat Planning
Go for broke on your first turn by using your heaviest striking Dark techniques (Synthesis Skills if you have them) and any relevant skills that can improve your team's attack or defense.
When Ordemos first uses War Cry, it will deplete your party's Attack and Defence stats. It is wise to have an ally with Dekunda in your party so you can switch out its debuffs when it uses it. Be vigilant in eradicating Earsplitting Shriek because it can induce Daze.
On its next turn, Ordemos will charge up and aim, giving you a hint that it's about to unleash a devastating Slam Shatter attack that will hit all party members. It will also use Soul Cry to gain two additional Turn Icons. Two choices are available to you:
- The informant advised that you weaken it by dispelling its influence.
- To lessen the damage your team takes, have everyone on guard.
Make sure your party stays healed so things don't go south quickly if you start taking a little too much damage. If you attack its weaknesses and be wary of its charged Slam Shatter strikes, the battle should be quite easy.
Motive to Conquer Grudge's Fang and Ordemos
Delivering the Bounty to the Recruitment Centre will net you 75,000 reeve and four courage points.
After you vanquish Ordemos, you'll be presented with a Talisman of the Foul and asked to return a Bloodstained Talon to the Recruitment Centre.
So we come to the end of this explanatory guide, now you know How To Unlock The 'The Incarnate In The Woods' Bounty in Metaphor ReFantazio, just do it and enjoy it to the fullest.
