The potential to become a Bright-Eyed Student becomes available when you level up your Bond with More character, which you'll get naturally as the story goes forward. This is a skill that allows changing the archetypes of your protagonist and your party in Akademia.

In Akademia speak to More each time that the Bright-Eyed Student skill is on, to access the Archetype Tree. Avail of Magla-MAG therein to reshuffle the Archetypes for teammates or your protagonist.

Now you are able to adjust the base numbers of your party, their abilities, equipment, and battle affinities simply by switching to different archetypes-a number of team synergies that can be opened. You might need to try a few different methods to see what you really like.

How to Unlock Archetypes in Metaphor ReFantazio?

As bonds with followers in Metaphor ReFantazio strengthen, and social links go up in rank, new archetypes can be unlocked.

The game allows you to get started with 14 base Archetypes, which you can acquire upon meeting characters and attaining Rank 1 Bond. You will unlock Enhanced Archetypes by leveling up the base Archetype and raising the Bond rank.

The amount of MAG that you will need to access higher stages of Archetype enhancements is quite big; MAG also contributes to upgrading the Bond rank. To increase your Archetype level, simply take part in battles and emerge as a winner. You will be given MAG after a couple of battles or you will be able to buy it for money from some vendors that you will come across on your way.

It would be better to test the different team compositions with base Archetypes first before upgrading, since upgrading the higher-end versions of Archetypes would cost a lot in terms of effort and time.
