Where to Find the AK-47

The AK-47 is an early-game weapon that can be acquired during Operation Snake Eater. There are two key locations where you can find it.

• Rassvet: This is the same abandoned factory where you find Sokolov during the Virtuous Mission. Upon returning to this area during Operation Snake Eater, you can find the AK-47 in a floating black weapons crate. Head to the ruined buildings and look for the staircase. The crate is located at the top of the stairs, on the platform. It's an easily missable weapon if you don't explore this area thoroughly.
• Bolshaya Past Base: If you missed the AK-47 in Rassvet, you have a second chance to acquire it. In the Bolshaya Past Base, look for a small, abandoned concrete building in the northeast corner of the area. Inside this building, you will find a weapons crate containing the AK-47. It is crucial to grab this weapon before proceeding, as this is a point of no return.

AK-47 Stats and Combat Use

The AK-47 is an effective lethal weapon for when a stealth operation goes sideways. Its high damage makes it a great choice for clearing out multiple enemiesquickly, but its recoil makes it less effective for precise,headshot-focused gameplay.

• Very Easy: 301
• Easy: 301
• Normal: 151
• Hard: 91
• Extreme: 91

The standard magazine holds 30 rounds. The maximum ammunition you can carry is significantly reduced on harderdifficulties, making resource management a greater priority.

When to Use It:

• Close to Mid-Range Combat: The AK-47 excels in close-quarters firefights. Its high damage and rate of fire can quickly take down enemies before they can react.
