How to Swap Weapons in Mass Effect Legendary Edition

It is a quality that this game has, here we can navigate through two wheels, the weapons wheel and the power wheel. While powers or ammo types can be assigned to specific keyboard keys or controller buttons, the same cannot be said for weapons, making it necessary to have to rely on Quick Swap to speed up the process.

We can do a quick swap in Mass Effect Legendary Edition, and this allows for quick weapon changes. It should be noted that this feature is limited to only two weapons, instead of the five weapons that Shepard can wield.

While we are playing on the console, we must hold down the Reload button to switch to our previously equipped weapon. If we are playing on PC, we only need to press X, it's that simple.

Quickly switching between two weapons allows us to have a great advantage in combat, such is the case of shooting enemies from afar with a sniper rifle, we can switch without problems to a faster or hand-to-hand combat weapon, a practical which saves us time, since we will not have to constantly open the weapon wheel to change weapons.

To make a quick swap, you can only switch between the current weapon and the last one equipped, however, to assign a different weapon to this function, we simply have to open the weapon wheel and select a different weapon. This will replace the holstered weapon in Quick Swap, allowing for a quick switch between the last two selected weapons.
