Instead of attacking the words, it's safer to jump over or run around them.
Once you deplete Zed's health bar in the first phase, you'll trigger a gory QTE that transitions you to the second phase. In this phase, speakers will spawn across the stage, and Zed will leap onto one to launch long-range red discs. Your goal is to dodge the discs and focus on the speaker Zed is standing on. The exception is his two-ball boomerang attack without screaming. For this, it's best to run away from him. The balls will return to him and can knock you down.
During his special attack, Zed will scream, push you back, and hover. After the animation, he'll lunge with balls, which you should dodge. Then, he'll send the balls out, and they'll return. Dodge them again before attacking. Zed is vulnerable after his special attack.
To earn the "Watch Out For The Balls" achievement, you need Zed to hit himself with his own balls fifteen times. This only works during his special attack.
