How to Cut Down a Cactus in LEGO Fortnite

By following these steps, you will be able to acquire the necessary tools and resources to craft a cactus companion for Flexwood. So, grab your bricks and let's get started!

To cut down a cactus, you will need a special tool called the Rare Forest Axe. This axe is essential for efficiently chopping through the thick cactus stems. To obtain the Rare Forest Axe, you must first gather the required materials.

The materials needed for crafting the Rare Forest Axe include Knotroot Rods from the Lumber Mill and Marble Slabs from the Stone Breaker. These materials can be found in nearby caves, but you will need an Uncommon Forest Axe and an Uncommon Pickaxe to gather them.

Using your Uncommon Forest Axe, venture into the caves and mine the Knotroot Rods from the Lumber Mill. These rods are essential for the handle of the Rare Forest Axe. Next, head to the Stone Breaker and mine the Marble Slabs. These slabs will serve as the blade of the Rare Forest Axe.

Now that you have gathered the materials for the Rare Forest Axe, it's time to upgrade your crafting bench. A Level 3 (Rare) Crafting Bench is necessary to craft the Rare Forest Axe.

To upgrade your crafting bench, access the Bench Upgrade menu. Here, you will find the necessary ingredients for upgrading to a Rare variant. Gather the required resources, such as bricks, wooden planks, and gems, to level up your crafting bench.

Once you have successfully upgraded your crafting bench to Level 3, you will be able to craft the Rare Forest Axe and proceed to cut down the cactus.

Before you can cut down the cactus, you will need to gather Sand Claws and Sand Shells. Sand Claws can be obtained by defeating sand wolves in the Dry Valley biome. These creatures are known to roam the desert areas, so be prepared for a thrilling adventure.

To find Sand Shells, venture into either the Shore or Dry Valley biome. Look out for sand rollers, small creatures that carry shells on their backs. Defeating them will yield precious Sand Shells, which are essential for crafting the cactus companion.

To craft the cactus companion, you will need a Gem Cutter. This tool is used to process the Amber, a rare resource found in the Dry Valley biome.

Explore the Dry Valley biome and mine the Amber veins. These veins are scattered throughout the area and can be easily identified by their distinct orange glow. Once you have gathered enough Amber, return to your base and place it in the Gem Cutter.

Utilize the Gem Cutter to carefully shape the Amber and craft the Forest Axe (Rare) at your Level 3 Crafting Bench. This tool will enable you to efficiently cut down the cactus and create Flexwood's cherished cactus companion.
