How to Stop the Feud in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2

Prochek and Olbram are locked in an endless feud, but you can step in and bring peace. Here’s how to stop the feud during the Battle of the Frogs and Mice side quest in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2.

Starting the Battle of Frogs and Mice Quest

The side quest "The Battle of the Frogs and Mice" becomes available once you complete either the Mice or Frogs quests for Prochek and Olbram. You need to complete the initial quest, regardless of the choice, to unlock this next quest.

Talk to Prochek or Olbram:

• Speak with Prochek in Tachov or Olbram in Zhelejov.
• Head to the pasture to get started.

Choosing Between Prochek and Olbram

Henry must decide whether to side with Prochek or Olbram, but there’s also a way to stop the feud altogether.

Siding with Prochek:

• Talk to Prochek in Tachov and say, “Let’s get those Zhelejovites!”

Siding with Olbram:

• Talk to Olbram in Zhelejov and say, “Let’s go and see those Tachovites!”

During the pasture encounter, passing the dialogue check will cause one person from the enemy side to run off, simplifying the fight. Winning thefight for either side rewards you with groschen.

How to Stop the Feud

For a peaceful resolution, follow these steps:

Ask to End the Feud:

• Speak to Prochek or Olbram before heading to the pasture and ask if they want to end the feud.

Visit Baliff Thrush:

• Head to Troskowitz and speak with Baliff Thrush. Choose the dialogue option, “You’d finally have some peace.”
• Pass the dialogue check to proceed.

Read the Troskowitz Chronicle:

• Head to the scribe’s room and read the Troskowitz Chronicle. If persuasion fails, sneak in to read it (save your game first).
• Speak with the scribe and choose, “Fecit, ordinem in regione ope clavi ferrei.”

Examine the Oak Trees:

• Go to the pasture and find three oak trees in a row. Examine the middle tree to find a nail.
• Options with the nail:
  • Leaving it in the middle tree splits the pasture equally.
  • Putting it in the west tree gives more land to Tachov.
  • Putting it in the east tree gives more land to Zhelejov.

End the Feud:

• Speak with Baliff Thrush again to end the feud.
• Talk to Prochek or Olbram to bring them to the pasture.

Completing these steps successfully ends the feud. Speak with Baliff Thrush afterward to receive the Master Studies I book.
