The Oratores quest in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 can be challenging, particularly when it comes to finding the Royal Treasury Key. This guide provides a clear walkthrough to help you acquire this essential item and continue the quest.

KCD2: How to Get the Royal Treasury Key

Locating the Key

After speaking with Rosa and Zizka, you'll need Vavak's assistance. Following this, the quest will task you with retrieving the Royal Treasury Key. The key is hidden in a rather unsavory location: the outhouse (or toilet) located in the backyard just outside Vavak's house. The provided screenshot (not included here, but easily found in-game) pinpoints the exact location on the map.

Retrieving the Key

Enter the outhouse and examine thetoilet bowl. You should see an "Investigate" prompt on screen. Interactwith the prompt, and Henry will retrieve the Royal Treasury Key from the bowl.

A Word of Caution: Cleanliness

Be aware that retrieving the key from the outhouse will make Henry dirty. It's highly recommended to wash up at a trough before proceeding withthe rest of the quest. Talking to NPCs while dirty can lead todifficulties in dialogue checks and interactions.

Continuing the Quest

Once you have the Royal Treasury Key and are clean, return to Zizka and Rosa to continue the Oratores quest. You'll then explore the undergroundpassages with Samuel. Be prepared, as this quest is quite lengthy andinvolves several more stages.
