How To Find the Lion’s Crest DLC Armor in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2
Embarking on the Hunt: Starting the Lion's Crest Quest
The Lion's Crest armor quest is exclusive to players who pre-ordered Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. The search can begin as soon as the game world opens up after the "Laboratores" quest. To initiate the quest, travel to Troskowitz and speak with the scribe. He will provide a riddle that serves as your first clue, leading you to the initial treasure location. While we could discuss the riddle itself, this guide focuses on the specific locations, streamlining the process for eager adventurers. It's highly recommended to begin this quest after acquiring a horse during the "Back in the Saddle" quest. A trusty steed will significantly expedite your exploration.
The First Discovery: Chapel in the Rocks (Dagger & Gauntlets)
The first clue directs you north from Trosky Castle. Leave the castle gates and ride north, bypassing the forest. You'll encounter a steep hill; descend it to find a small cave leading to a secluded chapel. Approaching the chapel will trigger a prompt to "Push it aside." Activating this prompt initiates a brief loading sequence, revealing the hidden treasure.

- Brunswick’s Dagger
- Brunswick’s Gauntlets
- Fragments from the Bible (Skill Book)
- Brunswick’s Map I (Your next clue)
Venturing into the Wild: Wolves' Den (Coif, Plate Legs, and Caparison)
Brunswick's Map I leads you to a wolves' den north of Tachov. Head north from Tachov, following the road. You'll eventually reach a fork in the road and a forest to your left. Dismount and head northwest. You should find a cliff overlooking the wolves' den. Dispatch the wolves and search near two prominent trees to find a sack containing the next set of treasures:
- Brunswick’s Chainmail Coif
- Brunswick’s Plate Leg Armor
- Brunswick’s Caparison
- Brunswick’s Map II
By the Pond: Vidlak Pond (Plate Sleeves)
The next treasure lies relatively close to the wolves' den, near Vidlak Pond. Head east from Tachov. Vidlak Pond is a small settlement with a fast travel point. The treasure is hidden on a cliff marked by three crosses. Reaching this cliff requires a bit of maneuvering. From Vidlak Pond, head north until you find an outhouse. Pass the outhouse and take the small path with the fallen log. Follow this path to the top of the cliff. The treasure is located at the cross furthest to the right. Exercise caution while climbing, as falls can be fatal. Consider saving your progress with Saviour Schnapps before attempting the climb.

A Bathhouse Secret: Zhelejov Baths (Brigandine)
The next piece of the Lion's Crest armor awaits near the Zhelejov baths.Travel to Zhelejov and head towards the baths outside the town. Crossthe first bridge, then cross the second bridge spanning the river.Immediately after the second bridge, turn right and follow the pathuntil you see a fallen log bridging the river. Cross this log bridge.You'll discover a hidden path. Follow this path to a small hill with anarrow entrance leading to a tree and a skeleton.

- Brunswick’s Brigandine (Plate Armor)
- A Sword (Not part of the set)
- Brunswick’s Map IV
The Final Piece: Nomad's Camp (Bascinet)
The final piece of the Lion's Crest armor, the Bascinet, is located at atreasure hunter's camp northeast of the Nomad's Camp. From the Zhelejov bathhouse, take the southern road and turn west past the herbwoman'scabin (from the game's early quests). You'll reach the Nomad's Camp.Head northeast, past the two roads between the cliffs, and climb thehill to find the camp.
Search for a cairn in the center of the camp. Be prepared to face a fewenemies. Eliminate them or wait for nightfall to dispatch themstealthily. Once the area is clear, approach the cairn to claim yourprize:
- Brunswick’s Bascinet

With the Bascinet in hand, the Lion's Crest DLC quest is complete. Whilegathering all the pieces requires time and exploration, the Lion's Crest armor set provides a significant advantage in the early game. Itsimpressive stats will serve you well until you acquire more advancedarmor later in the game. The set also offers valuable charisma bonuses, making it ideal for certain conversations.
