Save File Location in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle
Find in the video below the actual step-by-step guide on how to easily find your save game files and configuration (config) file of your favorite game on your PC, be it Steam or Xbox Game Pass! Just follow the steps below.
Steam Players
- Open File Explorer and go to the C drive.
- Go to the Program Files (x86) folder. Just double-click on the Program Files (x86).
- Scroll down, and find the Steam folder. Open the Steam folder.
- Once inside the Steam folder, open the userdata directory.
- Each steam user has a unique numeric folder. Open the folder with your steam ID number.
- Inside of the folder for your Steam ID, find the folder associated with the game's steam ID. For The Great Circle that's 2677660.
- Navigate to the Steam ID folder of the game and access the remote folder.
Your saved game files can be found in the remote folder. Backup or transfer these files whenever necessary.
Users of Xbox Game Pass
- Simply press Win + E or click on the File Explorer icon, then navigate to This PC > C.
- Navigate to the C drive, double-click on Users, and then access your username folder.
- You want to open the AppData folder now.
- Now, you have to go into Local Packages. Inside of the Local, you click on Packages.
- Look for a folder with a name associated with the game, something like BethesdaSoftworks.ProjectRelic_.
- SystemAppData, then WGS. The save files are in this folder.
Want config files?
Getting the config files for the game, you'll do the following:
- To access the main system drive, click on This PC and then double-click on C. Find the Users folder and double-click on it. Open the folder named after your username. Navigate down and open the Saved Games folder. Navigate to Saved Games and find the MachineGames folder to open it. Locate the folder titled with the name of the game (in this case, The Great Circle) and open it.
- Now, inside the game folder, open the Base folder.
- Here is the configuration file.
Editing is very easy, right-click the file, Open With and select Notepad or your favorite text editor.
