Sanctuary Of The Guardians Fieldwork in Indiana Jones And The Great Circle
Start the Sanctuary of the Guardians Fieldwork in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle to be taken by the in-game map for an appointment with Gina to the area of the Great Sphinx. Enter into the entrance of the tomb to find Worker's outfit. Analyze the document nearby to see what to do next.
To open the door, one needs a golden medallion and a lighter since the tomb is completely dark. Leave the tomb and head to the place marked in your map to find the medallion. Don't forget to give the bottle to the soldier who asked for it; that way, you won't raise suspicion. Now head to the merchant marked in your map and buy the lighter so that you will have a good source of light inside the tomb.
Upon your return to the tomb with the medallion in hand, Gina will remark on the darkness surrounding you, prompting a visit to the merchant. It’s recommended to obtain the Lighter prior to your return.
Once you've pulled the first lever and realized it's a trap, grab the whip and secure it to the hook above. Then, carefully lower yourself into the hole beneath the hook you just activated. Navigate through it and ascend to the elevated platform with the whip. Move ahead and tug the chain to unlock the door, continuing your adventure with Gina until Indy encounters a mirror puzzle.
Solving the First Mirror Puzzle in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle
As you take a picture of the gold mask, which is kept in a safe place, you get a clue that it is sealed behind a device that opens with light. To solve this puzzle, you need to send light to the two photocells located near the stairs, just beneath the gold mask.
Four mirrors are strategically placed—two at the entrance and two beside the throne, along with the two discs.
First move to the mirrors that are farther from the door and point them so that the light beam touches the opposite mirror directly across. So, for example, (1) should be pointing at (3) and (2) is pointing at (4).
Head to the mirrors at the entrance and reflect the light beams to the discs below the gold mask, near the stairs. Light up (4) by (5) near the stairs and light up (3) at (6). After a short cinematic, Gina and Indy are trapped in a room full of scorpions and must find a way out.
Finding a Way Out in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle
Light Gina's torch with the lighter; she'll use it to drive the scorpions away. First, pull on the chains nearby to open a room full of rubble. Once inside, pick up the torch lying next to the skeleton and light it. Gina will comment on a weak, broken wall that may be the way out.
With Indy now protected from the scorpions, head to the other side of the room where you will find a hidden door, with the torch holder nestled to one side. Place it in and rotate to turn the lever on the wall behind the pillar. You can enter this room for the powerful metal-headed weapon if you wish then head down to where Gina is positioned and smash the wall in before continuing to the right through the scorpions into a second problem.
Solve Indiana Jones and the Great Circle's Statue of Light Puzzle
Compared to the first one, the second mirror puzzle, Statue of Light, is much easier. Light up both discs that are on this statue, which is in the centre of the room.
Approach the mirror and turn the beam of light to the top right. Unfortunately, the door is broken, and Indy will help Gina climb through the gap. A mirror will be slid under the door for you.
Go back to the mirror and point its beam into the top left mirror to break into the room. Take the mirror and place it on the pedestal to light up the disc of the statue. To turn on the second disc, point the beam outwards and light the mirror that Gina is holding. Solving the Statue of Light is close.
Continue through the game until you reach a room that is filled with scorpions and lit by only one beam of light. Help Gina move the light beam one more time, to get the scorpions off Indy's back. Climb up onto the broken column and jump onto the ledge to start sliding to the right. Use your whip to bound across to the other wall and head upstairs to meet up with Gina.
Be sure to grab the Protector Stele on your way out. Indy and Gina are bound to end up in front of the entrance to the tomb. Leave the tomb and watch a cutscene that concludes the Sanctuary of the Guardians Fieldwork quest.
