The Snorkel isn't simply handed to you; it's a reward earned through friendship and quest completion. The journey to deep-sea exploration involves several key steps:
Flippers First: Before you can even think about diving, you'll need to learn to swim. This is achieved by obtaining the Flippers. Raise your Friendship Level with Keroppi to Level 2, and he'll reward you with the Flippers Recipe. Kuromi's Connection: Your next crucial step involves building a strong friendship with Kuromi. You'll need to reach Friendship Level 6 with her. This requires gifting her items she loves, such as Jack-O-Lanterns. Don't forget to utilize Friendship Blossoms to maximize your daily gifting potential. You'll also need to complete her first quest, "Re-Haunt The Spooky Swamp," which becomes available at Friendship Level 4. This quest, alongside surviving the mansion, is a prerequisite for increasing your friendship to the required level. Be mindful of your Stamina, as it depletes faster the deeper you go. Surfacing for Air: Rising back to the surface consumes significantly less Stamina. If you find yourself running low on air, ascend to replenish your Stamina before venturing deeper. Kuromi's Locket: During the "Deep Diving" quest, you'll need to find Kuromi's Locket. It's located near the dock where Kuromi is standing. Dive down a short distance – you won't need any Golden Stamina Apple upgrades for this initial dive. The locket rests on the lakebed just below the end of the dock. Retrieve it and return it to Kuromi. Crafting Your Own Snorkel:

Rubber (x10): Rubber can be found scattered on the ground on Seaside Resort island. Look for small, purple, ball-like objects. Sparks (x2): Sparks are found in chests or crafted from 3x Light Stones using the Spark Crafting Recipe. This recipe is a reward from Pochacco for completing his Friendship Level 4 quest, "A Zipline Adventure." Once you have gathered all the necessary materials, head to Chococat's crafting table and craft your Snorkel. Like the Flippers, the Snorkel is automatically equipped, enabling the "Dive In" action when you enter sufficiently deep water.
