Complete "Power Up the Gate"

Visit Gemstone Mountain

Reach Friendship Level 4 with Pompompurin

Complete "Dessert-ed Boat"

These steps are relatively straightforward, and reaching a friendship level of four with Pompompurin is manageable.

Where to Find Pompompurin

Pompompurin is located on the northernmost island. Navigate there to find him and Pekkle. You don't need special equipment to reach this area, but the navigation can be tricky. Pompompurin is inside a building near his icon, which might be slightly misplaced on the map. Enter the building that looks like a ship to find him in his ice cream shop.

Completing the "Dessert-ed Boat" Quest

Once you reach level 4 friendship with Pompompurin, you can complete the "Dessert-ed Boat" quest, which requires gathering six Fizzy Ore.

How to Get Fizzy Ore

Pompompurin will direct you to the Crystal Caves, marked with a pudding icon on the map. Here’s how to get Fizzy Ore:

Navigate to Crystal Caves: Head to the location marked on the map.

Ride the Mine Cart: Hop into the mine cart, which will move along the track near the ore.

Collect the Ore: Press the hand icon repeatedly to collect the ore. You need six Fizzy Ore, but you can gather more.

You can return to the cave and ride the mine cart again if you need more Fizzy Ore in the future.

How to Make Fizzy Crystals

Once you have the Fizzy Ore, Pompompurin will realize that he needs Fizzy Crystals, not just the ore. Follow these steps:

Speak with Chococat: Head to Chococat and talk to him.

Return to Gemstone Town: Go back to Gemstone Town, where Chococat will set up a new crafting table.

Craft Fizzy Crystals: You can make one Fizzy Crystal with six Fizzy Ore.

Complete the quest by heading back to Pompompurin, who will then allow you to make ice cream whenever you have enough materials.

What to Do with Fizzy Crystals

• Making Soda: Head right from the mailbox in Gemstone Town to find the crafting station for making soda, which requires one Fizzy Crystal.
• Crafting a Soda Machine: At friendship level 12 with Pekkle, you can unlock the crafting plan to make your own Soda Machine. It requires 10 Ingots, 5 Sparks, and 100 Fizzy Crystals.

Collecting a large amount of Fizzy Ore at once can help you craft multiple Fizzy Crystals and sodas before needing to return to the cave.
