How to Use Moly Root in Titan Quest 2

In Titan Quest 2, Moly Root is a special, magical flower that plays a key role in several side quests and hidden puzzles. Known for its power to reverse curses and restore things to their true form, it’s an essential item for any hero looking to uncover all the secrets of the ancient world. This guide details where to find Moly Root and how to use it to solve puzzles, earn rewards, and help a few afflicted individuals along the way.

Where to Find Moly Root

Moly Root is a rare blossom found in three specific locations within the Flooded Farmlands region. You'll need to keep an eye out for these precious flowers, as they are crucial for completing specific tasks.

The First Moly Root: You can find the first Moly Root in a garden area situated between the Temple of Glaukos and Pyrgos Village.

The Second Moly Root: The second Moly Root is located at the Temple of Glaukos. After you absorb the Titan Ichor, follow the priestess. You will find the blossom on a cliff in the vicinity. Be cautious, as Icthian enemies are often patrolling this area.

The Third Moly Root: The final Moly Root is found far to the north of the Flooded Farmlands, near the Farmlands Crossroads. It is situated on a road that connects to a small northeastern town.

How to Use Moly Root and Unlock Secrets

Moly Root is a single-use item that is automatically consumed whenyou activate it in the right place. It's the key to solving a number ofquests and unlocking special rewards.

The Spider Dungeon and the +10 Energy Boost

At the Farmlands Crossroads, you will find a structure with a trapdoor. If you enter, you will becursed and transformed into a spider. To undo this curse, you must use a Moly Root.

• Entering the Dungeon: Once you enter the trapdoor, you'll be turned into a spider.
• Reversing the Curse: Continue through the cellar until you reach a locked door. A promptwill appear allowing you to use a Moly Root from your inventory to openthe door and transform back into a human.
• The Reward: After reverting to your human form, you can collect eight spider excretions from the green spiders throughout the cellar. Once you have them all,proceed deeper into the dungeon to find a Cauldron. Offering theexcretions to the Cauldron will reward you with a permanent +10 Energy stat boost and a healthy dose of experience.

The Chicken Man of Pyrgos Village

In Pyrgos Village, you will encounter an afflicted man who makes cluckingnoises like a chicken. Using a Moly Root on him will transform him backinto his human form and initiate a side quest.

• The Quest: Once he is human again, he will join you on a side mission known as the "chicken puzzle." This quest requires you to tour the six strategicpoultry coops located throughout the town.
• The Reward: After visiting all six locations, the quest will be complete. You willbe rewarded with a collection of valuable items, including Embers of Night, experience points, and gold.
