In Titan Quest 2, while much of your time is spent in combat and gathering gear, the world is also rich with small, optional stories that add depth to the game. The Betrothal Rings quest is one such story. It's a small but memorable side quest that involves helping two lost souls find peace. This guide will walk you through where to find the rings, what to do with them, and the reward you'll receive for your compassionate act.

Where to Find the Betrothal Rings

The quest begins when you find the two Betrothal Rings. According to the game's clues, the rings have traces of sea salt on them, which points you toward the west coast. Specifically, you'll find them while exploring the Western Flooded Farmland.The rings are not a chest loot or a static pickup. Instead, they are a drop from a group of powerful highwaymen known as the Bronze Lions. As you explore the Western Flooded Farmland, keep an eye out for this group of enemies. They will drop the Betrothal Rings upon defeat, allowing you to begin the next phase of the quest.

How to Use the Betrothal Rings

Once you have the rings, you will find that you cannot equip them oruse them for crafting. They are a quest item with a single purpose: tobe returned to their rightful owners.

  • Head to the Raider's Landing: With the rings in your inventory, you need to travel to the west. Your destination is the Raider's Landing, a small area characterized by docks and boats.
  • Find the Ghostly Couple: Within the Raider's Landing, you will spot a large rock formation thatyou can climb. Make your way to the top. At the summit, you will findtwo ghostly figures waiting.
  • Return the Rings: The spirits are the couple to whom the rings once belonged. Speak to Phylia, the ghost on the left, and offer her the Betrothal Rings.
  • Receive Your Reward: Your act of kindness will finally bring peace to the two spirits,allowing them to move on. For your efforts, you will be rewarded with 5,609 XP and 10 Embers of Night.

    • The Embers of Night Side Quest

    It's important to note that receiving the Embers of Night will automatically start a new, separate side quest. This questrequires you to collect more of these items. Embers of Night are aspecial currency in Titan Quest 2 that you can exchange with a specific vendor, the Scholar of the Ancients, for rare items and gear.
