Before you begin your vertical scavenging mission, your first priority should be unlocking the Chopper vehicle. While expert motorbike riders may prefer the speed and maneuverability of their two-wheeler, the Chopper provides unparalleled ease for reaching high-up, awkward positions without needing to nail a perfect ramp jump every time.How to Get the Chopper
Unlocking the Chopper is tied to a specific area event that requires resource delivery.
- Event Location: Navigate to the area near the pipe outlet at X on the map.
- The Quest: You must complete the 'Fill 'Er Up' event, which requires you to deliver 20 cans of oil underneath the pipe so the mechanism can "suck them up."
- Access: Once all 20 cans have been delivered, the nearby floor vault buttonwill activate. Press it to open the vault and gain access to theChopper.
Easy Oil Can Farming Methods
Finding and delivering 20 oil cans can be tedious, but two major exploits speed up the process dramatically:
- Method 1: The Respawn Loop: There are typically a couple of oil cans spawned naturally in thevicinity of the delivery pipe. Deliver these cans, then intentionally respawn (via the menu). The local cans will reappear, allowing you to quicklydeliver them again, repeating the loop until you reach the 20-canrequirement.
- Method 2: The Rebecka Duplication (Advanced):
- Unlock Rebecka: Drive a car into the wall southwest of the square/volleyball pitch at the southern end of Rad Resort. This crash opens a hidden room. Smash the egg inside to unlock the Rebecka back gear.
- Duplicate Cans: Go to the Photocopier location in Newtown. Use the Rebecka gear's item duplication method to copy 20 oil cans.
- Deliver: Have Rebecka eat all 20 cans. Head back to the pipe location and haveher spit them all up for an instant delivery of the entire quantity.
