Yakuza 4 will be for PlayStation 4, and Sega is preparing to release it in Japan for a new version with remastered graphics from the original PlayStation 3 and offers us a new series of images.

The PlayStation 4 version of Yakuza 4 will be released on January 17, 2019 in Japan, reveals the latest issue of Weekly Famitsu. The news came from the latest Famitsu magazine [Thank you, Gematsu] and also revealed some details about the changes in the game. The biggest impact is that the protagonist Masayoshi Tanimura has been completely renovated and will wear a new character model. Toshiki Masuda will now assume the role instead of the original actor, Hiroki Narimiya, it was announced that he will modify the role of Masayoshi Tanimura. Hiroki Narimiya, one of the four main protagonists of the game, was originally a rookie cop, but has since retired from acting after accusations about his personal life. To re-record parts of the dialogue, the editor went ahead and exchanged Toshiki Masuda.

The Sega Mafia returns to PlayStation 3 in a delivery that takes us back to the underworld of Kamurocho, an argument as sinister as the previous ones, old acquaintances and new characters. Kazuma Kyriu again has to fulfill missions in the problematic neighborhood, which this time can also be explored above, on the rooftops, and through its underground network. This time there will be two new characters that will accompany the protagonist: Akiyama Shun and Saejima Taiga. It arrives without cuts with respect to the Japanese version yakuza 4 pc.

In the images we can see some captures of the gameplay with the characters Kazuma Kiryu, Shun Akiyama, Masayoshi Tanimura and Taiga Saejima. They also show the menus of the game's skill system.
There is a lot of luggage associated with the original Tanimura actor. Accusations of drug use basically ruined his acting career and even led him to retire completely. I was authorized in 2016, but the damage was already done and most companies had associated with it. It is likely that a recast of this remaster will be made to avoid the royalties owed for its performance.

It is the same thing that happened with the remaster of Yakuza 3 on PS4. The hostesses in the game had used the image of real life actresses, so they were modified to avoid conflicts. The most important problem is that a lot of Yakuza 3 content was lost on PS4, which could also be the last of us ps3. The subject of the cut is not so important, but makes the previous statements that the content is not edited is false.

That said, there is still no confirmation of a Western release for these remasters. I guess they will come, but probably as a single package instead of three versions. Given that these are a few more than simple ports, it is likely that Sega has not announced anything yet and it
The magazine also has information about Masayoshi Tanimura, who is one of the main characters of the game. Some of his lines needed to be revised and re-recorded, and since his original voice actor Hiroki Narimiya has retired from the voice acting, his character model and voice actor have been changed. In the PlayStation 4 version of the game, Toshiki Masuda will play Masayoshi Tanimura.

We must admit that it seems to be a great effort to go alone to change some parts of the script, so we can not stop thinking if there is more to this than letting the organization allow it. Unfortunately, we will probably never get the full story, in fact, it is not clear if this port will leave Japan.
There is the trailer for the next Yakuza 4 remaster for PlayStation 4, which includes Toshiki Masuda's first video as the character of Masayoshi Tanimura. No word yet in an international release.
In the original release of Yakuza 4 for PlayStation 3, the character Masayoshi Tanimura was played by actor Hiroki Narimiya. The next PS4 remaster, Narimiya made a name for himself as a popular film and television actor, starring in the live action adaptation of Phoenix Wright and the Assassination Classroom: 2016 movie.

However, in December of that year, a weekly magazine published a photo of the actor allegedly using cocaine. Soon after, Narimiya announced that he was leaving and leaving the entertainment industry.
In the Japanese entertainment industry, once someone leaves the business, especially in dubious circumstances, it may seem that they have been erased.
Voice actor Toshiki Masuda is taking on the role for the game's PlayStation 4 remaster. As you can see, the character also has a slightly different haircut.
