These are the different types of damages present in Total War: Three Kingdoms:
Armor piercing (AP)
The damage of AP of the weapons and melee projectiles can be evaded, everything will depend on the characteristics of melee and distance evasion of the unit. Generally, weapons and abilities that cause AP damage often ignore the armor value of a unit.
Base damage
Base damage is the unmodified form of damage that one unit can cause to another. It should be noted that all units have a base feature of melee damage, while remote units have a base feature of distance damage.
Fire damage
Flame projectiles and attacking units can set buildings on fire and as the flames spread, the units of the defending army begin to suffer increasing morale penalties during the battle. In addition to this, the trees also easily catch fire in any type of battle, increasing the fatigue of those around them.
Flaming projectiles
These cause greater standard damage, but they are less AP damage than standard projectiles. In addition to that, they can impose a morale penalty on the target unit.
Impact damage
Inflicting impact damage arises when the speed and mass of a cavalry unit are combined. The heavier the unit, the greater the impact damage.
