Getting Zhao Yun in Total War: THREE KINGDOMS can turn out to be quite simple. Just follow the steps shown below and that's it.
STEP 1. Play Gongsun Zan, in case you don't want to play, you can go to step 2.
STEP 2. Obtain a single general woman, earn the friendship of Gongsun Zan and use her to marry Zhao Yun with your faction, although to do so, you'll need a lot of money.
STEP 3. Befriend Gongsun Zan and try to attach it.
STEP 4. Fight Gongsun Zan and catch Zhao Yun. To achieve this you must take into consideration 2 things:
1- You must have at least one character in your army with the ability to increase the capture of chance.
2- Infiltrate a spy in Gongsun Zan territory, and use it to damage the relationship between Gongsun Zan and Zhao Yun.
STEP 5. Hire a friend of Zhao Yun, and you should only wait for the GSZ faction to be destroyed. in the hope that Zhao Yun'll appear in his court as a free agent.
