Onimusha Warlords the legendary game of Capcom will be back for PS4, Nintendo Switch and Xbox One with all its great setting in medieval Japan as the studio announced a remastering of the game.

Onimusha is back and it is great news although we all regret that it is not a new delivery. 18 years ago Capcom released for PS2 this game and at that time the company dominated the genre of "survival horror" with success among which were the first three Resident Evil for PlayStation, two installments of Dino Crisis and RE Code: Veronica for Dreamcast and At that time Onimusha Warlords for many was subtracting Capcom in his career of success but after the time the opinion of all change then with the brand new console of Sony and its impressive visual characteristics for the moment led to Ominucha captivated us.

The first thing to say about this remastered version is that it does not bring new elements, the game is as it was delivered for PS2 but now with HD graphics and new textures. The Onimusha Warlords enhancements for the Nintendo Switch, PS4 and Xbox One also include a full-screen panoramic mode, new remastered sound and the inclusion of performance achievements as other games have.

A change in terms of interaction with the important character is the improvement that eliminates the control type "tank" in which the character was rotated on its axis and pressed forward, now moving the stick in the direction we want to go is enough. The character retains some inertia so that it does not bother when changes of camera happen.

The graphic and audio aspects were worked impeccably in this remastering and so it should be since in its original version was the aspects that most liked all users of this title in those days.

Even though it is a great videogame, everything is not perfect especially for all the advances that have taken place over these years. The CG cinematics made by the ROBOT studio, which at the time so much impressed today have become outdated and some characters like the remembered Fortinbras demons already in 2019, went from terror to be something that even cause a little fear . The puzzles now fall short or are very easy and the biggest criticism of many is that the possibility of a coactive way is wastedby not placing kunoichi as a more active character.

Onimusha Warlords is a game of those that today have come out more to touch the fiber of melancholy that innovation or improvements in games because for those who already played before we can continue to look remarkable but for a new user of the game Opinion of the game could be very hard placing it in a range of almost obsolete.
