Zammis Clark, 24, a security researcher at Malwarebytes, was arrested for the hacking crimes at Microsoft and Nintendo.
Clark, also known as
Slipstream or Raylee, allegedly hacked the
Microsoft and Nintendo servers and stole confidential information, including 43,000 files from
Microsoft's internal Windows servers.
It all started on January 24, 2017 when Clark had access to the
Microsoft network, he proceeded to insert a "web shell" to access the
Microsoft network remotely, and he got it, he accessed the
Microsoft network by approximately 3 weeks.
With his knowledge in inormatica, he managed to infest the
Microsoft network with several web shell that allowed him to search the
Microsoft network, upload files, and download data.

Security researcher: arrested for hacking Microsoft, then hacked Nintendo
But not everything ended there, but he also shared the data files and what he had done with other hackers around the world in Internet Relay Chat.
In the year 2017 it was discovered when trying to load a malware in the Microsoft network by the police, who found the tests on the computer that he had at home. The discovery was made in conjunction with Microsoft's cybernetic team, the FBI, EUROPOL and the National CyberCrime Unit.
The security investigator was arrested and subsequently released on bail, but the court did not impose restrictions related to computers or of any kind.
So in 2018 Clark did it again, but this time he hacked into Nintendo's internal network using VPN, managing to enter Nintendo's highly confidential game development servers that are used to store his development code for unpublished games.
He also stole 2,365 usernames and passwords, but as expected, was discovered in May 2018 and a few hours ago he pleaded guilty to hacking charges or the same "multiple accounts of computer misdemeanor offenses in a Court of the Crown of London ".
The costs of damage caused by the crime of hacking of which Clark is guilty are estimated at $ 913,000 and $ 1.8 million for Nintendo and approximately $ 2 million for Microsoft.
But not really everything started in the year 2017. Clark had been arrested in 2015 for violating Vtech data and also for discovering flaws in certain Internet monitoring programs and applications pre-installed on laptops.
But they have not been accused of imprisonment because they are autistic and they have blindness, easy prey inside prison, so their sentence would not help.
Judge Alexander Milne said:
"He compared the offenses with that of a common thief who entered a house, stole property and modified a house." While he was serious, he felt that Clark would be much better for rehabilitation, especially given the support of his parents, since his mother gave up his daily work to help his son during rehabilitation. "
Although he does not have to pay for the contents of the prison, he will surely do so if he returns to inspect this crime, and he was granted a "Serious Crimes Prevention Order" for five years, and if he fails to comply with said order, he can not be saved from a fine. accompanied by 5 years of jail.
