The latest Fortnite update has introduced a wave of new skins and cosmetics set to release in the coming weeks. Among the most anticipated is Champion Crystal, a new FNCS (Fortnite Champion Series) themed outfit, along with its matching accessories. True to past FNCS events, this skin offers a chance for players to acquire it for free before its official Item Shop release.If you're interested in adding the Champion Crystal skin to your locker without spending V-Bucks, here's how to potentially get it for free. Keep in mind that this opportunity is for a limited time only, after which it will become available for purchase in the Item Shop at a later date. The C6S3 FNCS Bundle is expected to hit the Item Shop on July 31st at 8 PM ET.

How to Get the Champion Crystal Skin in Fortnite for Free

The Champion Crystal skin and its bundle were obtainable for free by competing in the Solo FNCS Cup which took place on Saturday, July 19, 2025.

To check the exact start time for your region, players were advised to launch Fortnite and navigate to the Compete tab in the main menu. The tournament typically offered a three-hour window for participants to play matches and earn as many points as possible.

To secure the Champion Crystal skin and its accompanying cosmetics,players needed to finish among the top-performing competitors in theirrespective regions. The number of winners varied by region, with largerregions having more prize slots.

Here's a breakdown of the required placements by region to earn the Champion Crystal skin and the FNCS Star Wand pickaxe:
