How to Play the Squid Game Reload Map in Fortnite

The long-awaited official Fortnite x Squid Game collaboration has finally arrived, bringing a terrifying new Reload map called Squid Grounds to the game. This collaboration, which allows players to experience familiar Squid Game sights with plenty of eliminations and reboots, is available until October 3, 2025. One of the most thrilling aspects of the Squid Grounds map is the inclusion of classic Squid Game challenges, which are as deadly as they are in the Netflix series.
Players dropping into this Reload map will encounter numerous traps and games, with "Red Light Green Light" being one of the most important and iconic.

Fortnite: Play the Squid Game Reload Map

The Fortnite Reload game mode now features the Squid Game map. During its launch weekend (until Monday, June 30), it was the sole Reload map in rotation.To play the Squid Game Reload map in Fortnite, follow these steps:

From the lobby screen, navigate to the "By Epic" tab in the Discovery menu.

Select one of the various Reload map options.

Players can choose between Reload Build, Reload Zero Build, Ranked Reload Build, and Ranked Reload Zero Build.

Reload game modes are available for Solos, Duos, and Squads.

Given that Squid Game Quests are available until October 3, 2025, it's highly likely that the Squid Game map will remain in rotation within Fortnite Reload until that date.

How to Play Games in Squid Game Reload (Can You Play Squid Game Minigames in Fortnite Reload?)

Yes, there are Squid Game minigames integrated into the Squid Game Reload map in Fortnite. However, it's important to remember that this is still a Battle Royale game mode rather than a dedicated party game. This means the experience will differ from the Squid Game recreations found in Fortnite Creative.

Unfortunately, it's not possible to simply enter the map and exclusively playminigames. They serve as a complement to the Battle Royale experienceand offer a fun way to acquire rare weapons and loot. Here's whereplayers can find and try out the Squid Game minigames in Fortnite Reload:

• Red Light Green Light: This game is found inside the Red Greens POI. Once inside this POI, players can go downstairs into a room withpastel-colored stairs, which leads to the "Red Light Green Light" room. Players must be extremely cautious, as other players will attempt to eliminatethem upon entry. Furthermore, if a player moves while the robotic dollis facing the door, they are instantly eliminated.
• Glass Bridge: This challenge is located in the building west of the bridge that connects to Phoney Crossroads from the north side.
  
  

If players fail to cross the room in these minigames, they will lose areboot. However, successful completion rewards players with valuableRare Chests.

What Are the Rewards for Playing Red Light Green Light?

Once players successfully navigate the "Red Light Green Light" games room, their reward includes:

• 3 Rare Chests
• 2 Normal Chests
• Access to a Port-a-Potty, which can be used to escape back to the surface of the main map.
