How to get Godzilla’s Medallion in Fortnite?
You'll earn the right to defeat Godzilla in battle to steal its Medallion and unlock his incredible power. The player who inflicted the most damage on Godzilla gets to use the Medallion in exclusivity and also the special Burst Quad Launcher. When that other player jumps through that portal and turns into Godzilla, it is time to put your gear in place and get ready to take down the beast.
In Fortnite, the Medallions grant special abilities to the player possessing them-but these enhancements have some limitations. This is because the player, while holding onto the item, will have their position revealed to the whole lobby, with a big yellow circle showing their location. As a player starts picking up the Medallions, the circle slowly begins to contract in size. This can be a gift and a curse. Some would avoid you, knowing full well that you were highly capable of defeating bosses and how high the rarity of your weapon was. Conversely, they might try to find you, eliminate you from the equation, and then take the Medallion to their advantage.
With the arrival of Godzilla in Fortnite, there's a brand new Medallion up for grabs; this one's a little different because, in addition to beating Godzilla, you need to be the one who inflicted the most damage to take the Medallion. Survive the titan's onslaught, don't get eliminated by other players, and make sure you're constantly targeting Godzilla.
To ensure that you have the best possible chance of causing maximum damage, equip yourself with various powerful weapons, including the Rail Gun, and make sure to stock plenty of ammunition. The Rail Gun takes a little time to charge up before firing, so time your shots correctly. Now use Shield Bubbles along with a mobility item like a Kinetic Sword to avoid enemy fire and stay clear of Godzilla's attacks. Godzilla is full of weak points, so find the targets and exploit those areas for maximum damage either with an assault rifle or the Rail Gun.
Be prepared for Godzilla's Heat Ray that will not only take some of your health but also destroy any structure that you create. Watch out for the signals of their charge attack and remember to pop up a Shield Bubble when necessary. When your health falls, destroy the fragments on Godzilla's scaly body to regain 40 HP and three dash charges; use those dash charges to avoid a second hit while you shoot at Godzilla's weak spots.
