Epic Games has brought in slices of birthday cake that players can eat, along with Birthday Medallions they'll be able to get their hands on, thanks to the v31.20 hotfix, which allows them to start flying stylishly across the battlefield.

As Fortnite reaches its seventh birthday, players can earn a bevy of unique rewards. Among the vaulted balloons and Birthday Presents that players may be hoping to see are Firework Flare Guns, which also pop up and give players another way of revealing players other than getting Emma Frost's reveal Medallion or hiring the Artemis NPC. How to Find the Firework Flare Gun in Fortnite?

The Firework Flare Gun in Fortnite is one of those rare items that almost exclusively obtain through chests and supply drops. Though it appears to be far less common to get Firework Flare Guns this way than just opening Chests, they can still spawn as ground loot.

How to Use a Firework Flare Gun?

It is the Firework Flare Gun utility item in Fortnite that will show the nearby enemies. Using the Shoot button (Left Click/RT/R2), players can fire a flare. Just like Emma Frost's Reveal Medallion, upon explosion, the flare sends out a pulse that lives-pings opponents in its immediate surroundings. The Birthday Quest "Reveal Players by Setting off a Firework with a Flare Gun" picks momentum as foes are revealed when the Firework Flare Gun is used. When completed, players are granted 20,000 XP.

Additionally, it can also be used as a weapon, the Firework Flare Gun. With a direct shot, it would give 60 damage. Unlike the older versions of this Flare Gun, this one doesn't light up buildings, so the players could only possess high damage by precisely targeting it against opponents. One should make sure each shot counts since it can contain only six shots and no more ammunition could be added to it.

Players can earn and test the Firework Flare Gun, Birthday Presents, Birthday Medallions, and Balloons in both standard Battle Royale and Zero Build playlists for a limited time until October 1st.
