How To Defeat Altered Borophagus In Forspoken

Altered Borophagus can be found roaming the Barren Plains. It is usually accompanied by two smaller minions, an Altered Goliath and an Altered Mylodon. The Altered Goliath will usually be the first to attack, so be prepared to defend yourself.

Due to its sheer size, Altered Borophagus is best tackled at range. Utilize Scatter Shot and Tendril to keep your distance and whittle down its Health Bar. When it charges close, use Implant, Lucid Garlands and Burst Shot to quickly dispatch it.

Melee attacks are not recommended, as Altered Borophagus is extremely powerful and has a very high damage output. Focus on utilizing ranged attacks and Purple Magic whenever possible. If you get too close, use Red Magic to quickly escape.
