This guide will help you unlock The Spire of Trial in FFXIV if you're not sure where to go to get it.
How to unlock The Spire of Trial in FFXIV?
Only after reaching the end of Final Fantasy XIV's Dawntrail expansion will the Spire of Trial location be accessible. You must finish all quests in the expansion's main scenario before the rest of the game opens. Unfortunately, you also have to unlock the stone, sky and sea area. This can be achieved by speaking to Boisterous Bruiser in Idyllshire in the quest A Surprising Opportunity. We place them at the coordinates (X:7.3, Y:6.0).
