This time we return with a guide with the objective of explaining to you How to Find the Tarot Cards in Fear the Spotlight.
Amy and Vivian, the protagonists of Fear the Spotlight, are best friends with a common interest in the paranormal. While they are separated and embark on a mission to be reunited, a Planchette experiment in the School Library takes them to an alternate dimension. Players must rescue Amy from the Spotlight Head in the first section of the story, which is told via Vivan's perspective.
If you want to play the game from Amy's point of view, you can do so after you defeat the last boss as Vivian. Fear the Spotlight's Amy's Story is far more perplexing; you'll need to use your wits and make mental maps as you make your way around a warped replica of her childhood house. There will be a time when you need to use Tarot cards to solve a riddle. Here is the answer to Fear the Spotlight's Tarot Card Puzzle for those who are having trouble.
In Fear the Spotlight, Amy spends much of her time in her childhood house. Your journey to Amy's house will begin after you escape the Library in the aftermath of the Planchette incident. However, you can't proceed because of a strange lock that demands a Moon and a Star Medallion.
You will be able to reach the second level of the residence once you have completed the objectives on the lower level and located all the necessary objects for the Prayer Alter, including the Saints Statue. Two closed doors await you on the second floor; to go past them, you'll need to slip past a Spotlight that's hanging in the living room. There will be a door that you can enter at some point. This office belongs to Amy's dad.
On one side of the room, you'll notice a closet. Get there, clear the area of any clothing, and pound the wooden boards with the hammer. Eventually, the Ghost Lady will make her way into the room. Put an end to splintering the boards and just wait for her to go. You can shatter the remaining planks when she leaves. The door to Amy's bedroom is now open. Pamper yourself and have a look around Amy's bedroom. Near the bed is the table where she would sit to read tarot cards. However, the Red and Blue Tarot Cards are required for its application.
Take the batteries out of the Gamepal by interacting with it on the desk in Amy's bedroom. You should return to Dad's office and insert them into the radio thereafter. Amy will inform you that the majority of these albums are blue when you speak with the adjacent Bookshelf. Keep in mind that 93.9 FM is the Blues Express as you peruse the various radio stations. This is going to be useful down the road.
Get the Hammer and go to the window in Amy's bedroom; then, break the boards that are obstructing it. Use the open window on your left to exit. Stay out of the path of the Spotlight as it emitted light from the windows. This bathroom belongs to Jun. Look in the tub; you'll see some black sludge in there. It's imperative that you figure out how to remove it.
Go to Jun's bedroom by leaving the bathroom through the door. On one side of the room sits a desk, laptop, and secured briefcase. See how Jun changed the password to his dad's favorite radio station by interacting with the screen. Unlock the Briefcase and retrieve the Clock Pendulum by setting the combination to 9-3-9.
Return to the lower level after you've unlocked Jun's bedroom's main entrance. At this point, you must return to the Basement. Returning to the Living Room, however, you will see that the door leading to the Basement is securely closed and chained. However, you must attend to the ceiling-mounted Spotlight before proceeding.
In the living room, three ropes support the spotlight. The Spotlight can only be dropped by interacting with the ropes and untying them. It will even earn you an achievement. As you navigate the room, be cautious not to step within the Spotlight's beam. Now that you've taken out the Spotlight, you can use your lockpick to open the basement door and then deal with the water valve. Disconnect it and return to Jun's bathroom via the bedroom. The Red Tarot Cards can be retrieved by reaching into the tub's drain.
The good news is that the Blue Tarot Card isn't hard to come by. Return to Dad's office and engage with the Grandfather Clock once you have the Clock Pendulum. In order to insert the Clock Pendulum, you must first break the glass with the Hammer. Doing so will unlock a secret chamber within the clock that contains the Blue Tarot Cards.
Once you have the Red and Blue Tarot Cards in your possession, head back to Amy's bedroom and use the Tarot Card Table. Sort the tarot deck by color, with the blue cards facing up and the red cards facing down.
Two words will appear on the center card. To solve the problem, you'll need to combine two cards from the Blue Tarot Deck with one from the Red Deck. The answer to this riddle is:
A dance of darkness and light unfolds across the tarot cards. A sinister mentor weaves a spell of seduction, plunging a yearning performer into the depths of devastation. But from the shadows, a daring ally rises, offering a hand towards liberation and a pure spirit.
At the end of the game, Liberation will be your lone remaining card. You can get the Chrissy Doll by placing it in the empty slot above the table. If you continue playing the game as intended, you will eventually return to the Theater, this time standing before Vivian. If you want to know how Fear the Spotlight ends and how Amy and Vivian are reunited, you need to solve the Tarot card puzzle.
