In this guide entry, we are going to explain everything about How to place and move CAMP in Fallout 76.How to place and move CAMP in Fallout 76?
Setting up CAMP is a fairly easy task, we just open our Pip-Boy and place our CAMP on a flat surface. Next, we build the foundation in the green area, add doors, walls and roof, and fill it with necessary items such as beds, water pumps and desks. While the Locked and Loaded update allows you to place five CAMPS, here we can only place one on the map. In other words, there cannot be more than one active CAMP on the map.
It is important to turn CAMP slots on and off to use all five slots, building a CAMP requires planning. To achieve this, we must capture and defend workstations, buy them from merchants, loot them from containers, or receive them as a reward for completing missions.
In this particular task on How to Place and Move CAMP in Fallout 76, we need to keep in mind that to move a camp, we open our Pip-Boy by pressing Tab (B on Xbox or Circle on PlayStation) and select "Move Camp". We will then move to another location and place the device on a suitable flat surface. Let's keep in mind that CAMP cannot move with buildings.
After changing the location, structures from the previous location will be added to the "Saved" section in "Build Mode". Here we will have to find them and rebuild them in a new territory. But this does not require additional resources. There is no limit to the number of times we can move your CAMP. However, repositioning also has its price. The first trade costs 5 limits and the price increases with each CAMP move.
How to hinder CAMP's plans?
CAMP Migration automatically converts projects into plans. To separate these plans, enter the construction mode which involves holding down the V key, then we will go to the Saved section and press R on the plan. This will allow us to analyze the plan and add its components to the "Individual saved" section. CAMP package segmentation uses budget and requires available storage capacity. But the extracted objects do not require any resources.
How to find allies for CAMP?
Allies are NPCs that participate in CAMP, to obtain them, we must interact with them or complete character-exclusive missions. When an allay is unlocked, our specific workshop must be added to the CAMP in order for it to appear. It's important to think of CAMP partners as on-demand service providers with additional benefits. Such is the case of romantic allies, who offer daily rewards if the player spends the night with them. Other characters can provide quick services such as healing or cooking. However, since each CAMP can only have one ally, we may have to switch between them to take advantage of all the features.
How to get pets in CAMP?
To get a pet, we must use the Animal Friend perk. This card allows us to tame wild creatures with a small chance of taming them later. The domesticated animal goes to CAMP and remains there for the rest of its life. Here, we can have a pet, and that pet will have to go to a new CAMP location if the player moves their base.
The following table shows which animals in Fallout 76 can join CAMP as pets.
