One of the most desired resources in Enshrouded, Silver Bars will give you access to craft some of the most overpowered armor in this game. You're going to want to get them— lots of them, really—if you want the best possible gear later in the game.
Acquiring Silver Bars in Enshrouded is quite an adventure. You can either find them randomly in the beautiful Albaneve Summits or take matters into your own hands and create them. We recommend the latter, as it doesn't rely on an already low spawn rate. However, the crafting of Silver Bars isn't quite as simple as that of materials like Warm Padding or Wool. To get started with crafting Silver Bars, you'll need to undertake a quest to build a Blast Furnace.
Like with Steel Bars, your first step in making Silver Bars is going to be to craft a Blast Furnace. Once you've done that, put the following items into the furnace:
While the Blast Furnace works its magic on turning your materials into 20 Silver Bars in only 12 minutes, why not use the opportunity to improve something in your base or just go on an adventure to get all five pieces of the Fluffy Set? The time will surely fly while you work on the next great thing! After the timer has expired, go back to the Blast Furnace, and in its inventory, you shall find your newly crafted materials ready and waiting.
Coal could be quite accessible in the vicinity of the Albaneve Summits. In contrast, Silver Ore is relatively scarce. Silver Ore can be discovered in various locations such as buildings and campsites, or obtained as drops from enemies; however, this approach lacks reliability. Focus on identifying crucial spots across the map where ore appears in substantial quantities. You will not need to delve in too far into the later zones of the Albaneve Summits to find it, luckily enough. Load up on Shroud entry items as normal - Shroud Flasks, arrows, and health pots against any Felled creatures.
For those looking to farm Silver Ore, we recommend targeting crates and bags in camps and houses for the best loot. Sometimes, the ore will drop. To farm Silver Ore from deposits, look for the telltale cylindrical, jagged metal formations, as shown in the image above.
Learn where to farm Silver Ore in Shrouded, namely north of the Shroud Root, southeast of the Albaneve Summits Ancient Spire fast-travel point. One more deposit of the ore can be found in the Shrouded region east of Wildwater Basin, but our experience suggests the ore is much more abundant at the southern location. First things first, you need to craft a Blast Furnace if you haven't already. Like many other crafting stations in this game, it's tied to one of the Blacksmith quests. It'll unlock for you once you've reached the Albaneve Summits biome and have Flame level six. Well, get on with your questline and head to Forge Obsidia, where you will look for the Bellows, a necessary ingredient for making a Blast Furnace.
Acquire the Bellows from a scavenger boss, which is located in the building atop Forge Obsidia in a room containing a pit of molten metal. In addition to the bellows, prepare the following items:
Collecting the required materials, head up and speak with the Blacksmith in order to craft the Blast Furnace. Place it within your base, interact with it, and start smelting Silver Bars. The Blast Furnace has the same recipes that you have in the Smelter for making Iron and Copper Bars; either one of the two devices works, unless you want multiple items to be crafted all at the same time.
Now that you know How to make Silver Bars in Enshrouded, you can follow our steps and embark on an interesting construction process.
