How to lower the water level in the Shadowkeep Church District in Elden Ring?
1. Starting location
- The starting point is the Site of Grace "Church District Entrance".
2. Access to the roofs
- From the Site of Grace, descend to the roofs located below.
3. Traverse to the adjacent building
- Jump over the water to the next building located to the north.
4. Ascend and eliminate enemies
- Climb the rubble on the right side of the building.
- Jump to the building directly in front.
- In this building, you will encounter a formidable enemy. It is recommended to avoid it, as its reward does not justify combat.
- Continue moving forward through the arches that rise towards the upper section of the Church District.
- Jump over the arches to reach the top.
5. Access to the drainage mechanism
- Locate a hole in the ceiling and jump through it.
- Move forward on the chandelier-shaped structure until you reach solid ground.
- Locate a giant hole in the ground and descend to the lower level.
- Immediately turn right and then left to reach an area with a path and water.
- Cross the path and climb the stairs until you find a giant mechanism.
6. Activating the mechanism
- Activate the mechanism to lower the water level.
- This will trigger a cutscene that marks the culmination of the process.
Additional considerations
- During the process, fire enemies can be found in some buildings. Confronting them is optional.
- The high difficulty enemy present in Building 4 offers no significant rewards, so it is recommended to avoid it.
- Once the water level reduction is complete, it is recommended to activate the new Site of Grace to facilitate fast travel to this area.
As such, after successfully completing these steps, the water level in the Church District of Shadowkeep will have decreased, allowing access to the lower areas and the exploration of new content within the game.
