How to avoid Castle Stormveil  in Elden Ring?

The first thing you have to do is start at Stormhill Shack Site of Grace and head north. You will have to take out a group of soldiers and keep going until the path bends to the left towards the guarded castle entrance.

But refrain from going in, what you have to do is to advance north, along a path that is hardly noticeable on the map. You will have to pass under the big bridge to get to the road > Advance along here until you reach the end of a broken bridge > you will have to drop down and head south. At the top of the ridge you'll be able to see the gap in the cliff and you'll need to advance along the path northwest, until you eventually reach Liurnia of the Lakes, north of Stormveil Castle.

You can always enter Stormveil Castle and Liurnia of the Lakes, but we don't recommend skipping Stormveil Castle altogether. You'll have to go back and face the bosses in order to continue the story, which aren't as difficult as the bosses you'll face later on.
