Where to find Light Greatsword in Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree (Milady)


Milady Light's greatsword can be found by heading towards the front entrance of the castle. Starting at the Site of Grace, located on the northeast side of the Plain of Tombs in the Land of Shadow, opposite the Castle, is the fastest way to get there. Open your map and look for the long bridge called Ellac Greatbridge to find this specific Site of Grace. The Sitio de Gracia de la Cruz de Tres Caminos is just northeast of this bridge.

As you reach the front of the castle, there is another smaller bridge that takes you directly to the castle. Afterwards, you will meet in person a giant Knight guarding the entrance. This guy can be punishing if you don't have the right equipment or level up, so you can always run away from him and avoid him completely. After doing so, look to your left and you will find a staircase that goes around several buildings to your left.

Don't worry, you're almost there. To the left of the building you will find another small wooden staircase that will take you to the roof. Before going up the stairs, you will have to face an enemy patrol of standard Knights. Another staircase leads to a tower right in front of you. To find Milady Light's great sword, go up this ladder.

Light Greatsword (Milady) explained



Milady is a type of light greatsword in Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree, as I mentioned above. The Light Greatsword is a very new weapon, so I can't give a good recommendation. However, be sure to check out the new martial arts fighting style in the DLC.


These swords have the same reach as common greatswords, but are much lighter and therefore easier to wield. Therefore, your attacks will be much faster but will not have the same force as typical greatswords. However, Light Greatswords, including Milady, use both Strength and Dexterity, while Greatswords only use Strength.


It is important to mention that Milady Light Greatsword has the Impaling Thrust ability, which allows you to pierce weaponry and pass through enemy shields. To make the most of this ability, first build up power and then launch a strong attack that will break through the enemy's guard. As a result, Milady is a fantastic and obvious choice against any shield-wielding enemy.
