How to Get the Golden Braid Talisman in Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree?
Location
The Golden Braid is located at the top of Shaman's Village, a small settlement located in the Hinterlands, east of the Hinterlands.
Access to the Hinterlands
- Complete Shadow Keep: Progress through Shadow Keep until you reach the Site of Grace "Shadow Keep Back Gate".
- Accessing the “Oh Mother” Emote: Head east of Bonny Village and locate the shrine to the right of the back door. Use the “Oh Mother” emote there.
- Unlocking the Hinterlands: Performing the emote will open a portal that will transport you to the Hinterlands.
Reaching the Shaman Village
- Travel to the “Hinterlands” Site of Grace: Once in the Hinterlands, head to the eponymous Site of Grace.
- Locating the Shaman Village: Head east from the Site of Grace, following the hill until you reach a group of huts.
Obtaining the Golden Braid
- Exploring the Shaman Village: Feel free to investigate the huts and collect items such as the Lesser Erdtree Spell.
- Locate the Black Tree: Identify the withered-looking black tree south of the village.
- Find the Golden Braid: Approach the tree and at the base of a statue, you'll find the coveted Golden Braid Talisman.
Effects of the Golden Braid Talisman
This talisman significantly increases resistance to Holy damage, by approximately 22%. The higher your base Holy resistance, the more additional protection it provides.
