Hidden within the world of Dying Light: The Beast lies a legendary weapon waiting to be claimed: the EXPcalibur II. This powerful, dual-wieldable melee weapon is a direct successor to the secret sword from the original game, but obtaining it is no simple task. It requires a dedicated treasure hunt and overcoming a unique challenge.
This comprehensive walkthrough will guide you through every step to find the required Stone Sigils and perform the ritual to add the mighty EXPcalibur to your arsenal.

Prerequisites: What You Need to Know

Before you begin your search, be aware of two key requirements:
  • Story Progression: You must be approximately halfway through the main story. One crucial Sigil is locked behind the completion of the "Some Like it Dark" story quest.
  • The Sigil Hunt: The EXPcalibur is sealed away, and to access it, you must first collect eight hidden Stone Sigils scattered across the Castor Woods region.

  • All Stone Sigil Locations Map & Guide

Here is the complete list of all eight Stone Sigils and exactly where to find them.
  • Stone Sigil: The Void
    • Location: Southeast of the Monastery.
    • How to Find: Head to the marked waterfall. Swim behind the cascading water into a cave. Dive into the dark pool inside and use your Survivor Sense to locate the Sigil at the bottom.
  • Stone Sigil: The Moon
    • Location: Near The Void Sigil.
    • How to Find: From the waterfall, climb the nearby rocks. Look for a narrow opening between stone formations leading to a small crevice. The Sigil will be on a raised surface inside.
  • Stone Sigil: Witch's Mark

    • Location: Northeast of The Moon Sigil, near a water body.
    • How to Find: Locate a small, rocky hut. Enter and look up inside the chimney to find the Sigil.
  • Stone Sigil: Sacrifice

    • Location: East of the Witch's hut.

  • The Final Ritual: Claiming Your EXPcalibur

Once all eight Stone Sigils are in your inventory, the final stage begins.

  • Go to the Altar: Travel to the location northeast of the Monastery. You will see a tall, distinct rock formation.
  • Scale the Summit: Use the tree roots and climbable rocks to reach the top. You will needto traverse branches that act as monkey bars to reach the summit.
  • Place the Sigils: At the top, you will find eight smoking points on the ground. Interact with each one to place your Stone Sigils.
  • Defend Yourself: Placing the final Sigil will summon a powerful monster. You can chooseto engage it in combat or use the environment to your advantage byknocking it off the cliff edge.
  • The Patience Test: With the enemy defeated, approach the EXPcalibur sword stuck in thestone. Here is the final challenge: you must press and hold the interact button for a full 150 seconds (2.5 minutes). Do not let go, or the process will reset.

  • Important Note on the EXPcalibur II

Congratulations! You now wield the legendary EXPcalibur II. However, this powerful weapon comes with a significant drawback: it is irreparable. Its durability will decrease with each swing, and once it breaks, it is gone for good. Use it strategically against the toughest enemies rather than for common encounters to maximize its value.
