In this guide entry we explain How to get all endings in Dragon Age The Veilguard.

The Dragon Age: Enchantress campaign The three main endings of The Veilguard are completely different from one another. According to the player's choices and actions after the last battle, the result can be much different. Like earlier games in the series, this too has more than one ending.

Your choices and decisions throughout the main campaign affect the endings. The main factors are the choices made regarding the connections with the various factions, the relations within the party, and finally the party's assignments in Chapters 12–14.

How to get all endings in Dragon Age The Veilguard?

One is the "good" ending, one is the "bad" ending, and the third is a hidden ending; these are the three main endings. Due to the fact that in every single playthrough you have to kill someone in the Isle of the Gods assignment, it's impossible to complete the game with everyone in your team alive. The ways to achieve each conclusion are highlighted below.

Final Comments

Obviously, the best ending is the one wherein the party loses as little as possible. Complete all the stories and quests for every member in your team to get them to "Hero" status. Complete each and every quest available within the game, and obtain a three-star ranking with each faction. The same can be achieved by following the steps below.

Save Minthraus from Treviso in Chapter 6's "A Warden's Best Friend." As selecting Treviso kills one of the Dock Town faction leaders and limits Minthraus to 1 star, it is a good choice to go with Minthraus.

Chapter 12: Choose Harding or Davrin to be the diversion squad leader-which means one of them is going to fall in the final battle. Choosing Davrin means that Harding stays in the party and is a potential love interest, while keeping to the nice ending requirements, making it a good option.

Be certain to give the "Hero of the Veilguard" title to Bellara before selecting her to take out the wards. More importantly, she'll live but she will also have to leave the party for a bit of time and be rescued. You'll have to select Harding and Neve for the next mission.

Chapter 13 involves choosing which role different characters will play and assigning it to them accordingly. Upon arriving at Lucanis' quarters, you can access the table there as well in order to choose: Veil Jumpers Taash, Lucanis Antivan Crows, and the Grey Wardens/Mourn Watch Harding.

Accompany Solas to the protected settlement and complete the blue-marked "Honor The Fallen" questline as one last step.

Again, put the characters in their proper roles in Chapter 14. Send Taash to protect the Divine Manor with Harding and Neve. Defeat the boss, followed by choosing the conversation option. Further, the conversation flow went, "Let's give this a go your way." "I wish things were different."

You learn in the final scene that Bellara survived. When this ending is chosen, you will be granted the trophy/achievement "The Ones That Last" and all six party members  will survive to make it out of the end.

This is an older strategy, but really, the quickest way to get the bad ending is doing the opposite from what one does to get the good ending: skip Minthraus in Chapter 6 and go ahead with demoting Treviso to 1 star. Also, don't bother doing the faction tasks or leveling up your party members.

Lastly but not least, in Chapters 12–14, have party members perform actions that are beyond their skill sets. This will ensure maximum casualties with a disastrous result.

Solution by Stealth

Other requisites in turn will instead unlock this game's secret ending. Get Mythal's Essence by completing the "Regrets of the Dread Wolf" side quest before reaching the point of no return in Chapter 11. The next step is to find the three shadowy circles listed below:

  • The first one is on a tiny island in the Arlathan Forest. You'll have to create a bridge to get to it and towards the crystal by focusing all four lasers in its direction. The second one is in the Necropolis Halls, just left of where you fought the Formless One boss. For this circle, you need to ensure that you have earned the trophy/achievement "The Unbound ".
  • Once you complete the "Heart of Corruption" quest, you will be taken to the Crossroads with your third mysterious circle. Defeat the three champions and enter the room on the left; this is where you're going to fight the Revenant Dragon. Go upstairs to find the final circle.
  • After the final cutscene of the game, you will have a new one playing now that you unlock it. This will give you the "A Storm Quelled" trophy and achievement.
