The Hossberg Wetlands are the setting for Dragon Age The Veilguard's Something's Coming quest, in which players must put an end to the blight eruption and bring about a return to normalcy. This quest will only start after you finish Something's Wicked. It requires talking to Evka and Antoine again, who inform Rook about the problems caused by the Blight.
While there may be rewards for destroying the Blight, getting there may be difficult due to the road and barriers. Listed below are the steps you need to take to finish the quest and bring some relief to the land of Thedas from the Blight.
Dragon Age The Veilguard: How to complete the Something’s Coming
After you finish the Something Wicked quest, go to the Hossberg Wetlands and talk to Antoine and Evka. They'll tell Rook about the Blight eruption. Pay heed to the directions on the map and make your way to the Inner Courtyard.
The player must essentially follow the same path as in the Spinning Gold From Grey quest, but now they must start their journey directly from the beacon.
When you get to the Inner Courtyard, you'll see a plethora of Blight paths, some growing on the ground and others climbing walls. The next objective is for players to eliminate five tendrils that have been dispersed throughout the region.
Although the majority can be easily shattered from the main section of the courtyard, it is recommended to ascend to the Ballista and defeat the tendrils and other foes that stand in your way.
Please be aware that Fire damage is ineffective against the aforementioned enemies and others that will be met later. You can weaken the huge boil blocking a door by destroying all five tentacles. So, destroy it and go ahead.
The Blight Eruption is the next place the players will visit. There, they will encounter additional foes and tendrils protecting the massive Blight Eruption. Use fire-based attacks, however heavy ones like Reaper can be effective here.
You may eradicate the boils and defeat all of your foes by striking their red-glowing weak spot. After this, a boil that has been obstructing the passage on the right side of the big eruption's stairs can be easily removed.
As soon as instructed, climb the stairs and set the Alchemical Flame before the Blight. Stand back at a safe distance and see the massive Blight wiped off.
Arriving at the Sheltered Glade marker, Antoine and Evka express their gratitude to Rook and the group for assisting the flowers in making it back to the Hossberg Wetlands. Players will receive a Great Axe of Arlathan, 2250 experience points, a Bouquet of Brona's Bloom, and 400 Grey Wardens Strength in addition to an increase in party member bond.
