Minrathous is the capital of the Tevinter Imperium and one of the main locations players will explore during the main campaign of Dragon Age The Veilguard. On the Shadows of Minrathous mission, players are entrusted to stop a potential invasion of Darkspawn, and very well will find that what happens in the underbelly of the city is far different than what it seems to be.
Since this quest is not quite challenging, a lot of the objectives that are to be included in the campaign of Dragon Age The Veilguard may be very confusing for players. To get started, simply head down into the sewers beneath Minrathous, using the quest marker to guide you until you eventually find yourself in some abandoned tunnels where Darkspawn were once spotted. Once you've cleared your way through both the Venatori and the Darkspawn Ghouls, head back to Asher at the shop.
There's no real secrets to this part of the quest. After defeating the two Venatori minibosses in the tunnels, head into the room they came out of. In here you'll find a gilded chest with an item in it. You can get experience for the Caretaker by finding a Memento in a boarded up tunnel passage after a little ways more.
Warehouse of Venatori
Once you've met with Asher, he'll send you out to investigate a Venatori warehouse that's down by the docks. Head back to the market and take the elevator at the very far end of the street. Once you reach the bottom some Venatori will attack. Head to the back of the building once you've cleaned up the dockyard. After the defeat of a miniboss hiding behind the crystal barrier, go up the ladder that leads to the rooftop of the warehouse for an available hatch.
Downstairs in the warehouse are a few Venatori employing one Darkspawn Hurlock as their minion. In order to get to them, in the image up top you'll need to clear a path down the stairs and then break through a pile of crates sealing off the entryway. When you do finally arrive, well. be prepared for a fight.
You'll find a Hurlock and three Venatori Mages down here. Take the wizards out first, to stop them from constantly pestering you with their bow and arrow attacks. In Dragon Age The Veilguard, make sure to launch a few ranged attacks at the mage if you have not recruited Lucanis yet. His Abominate can drain their shields out in no time. Of course, once the wizards are gone, you may do with the Hurlock whatever you like. Be sure and grab the treasure chest that's sitting in the corner of the room once the fight is over.
Finding Evidence
Once you have defeated all of the foes, it's time to find some evidence on the ground floor. To advance, you will need to examine items in the following positions:
- To the right side of the treasure chest, on top of some crates
- Sewer grate near stairwell
- On the floor, next to a couple of bookcases, near the sewage grating
- On the ground, near one of the bookshelves located in the middle of that room
- Once you have uncovered all the evidence, Asher will come and take you out from the main gate of the warehouse. You and your team head back to the headquarters of Shadow Dragon, which concludes your mission.
