Discover How to get the Redacted operator skin in Black Ops 6 with this excellent and detailed explanatory guide.
Whatever the reason may be, the Redacted operator skin is going viral across social media, much like many other Call of Duty operator skins.
It can be a frog that grows mushrooms on his body based on your kill count, a massive rubber ducky, or even a Monster Energy skin-the options go on and on. In Black Ops 6, players are fighting for the first viral skin, one that is both mysterious and beautiful.
Just one more operator skin This BO6 skin is most similar to the super-popular Roze skin in Warzone, which made that operator far less visible in low light. It's unlikely, though, it'll drop simply from leveling a battle pass or buying it from the store.
Here's everything we know about the "Redacted" operator skin that has everyone talking in Black Ops 6.
Data miners found the "Redacted" operator skin buried in the game files of Black Ops 6 not long after the title's release. The operator is anonymized, but they are shown to wear a balaclava and goggles with an all-black outfit on the skin. The image above is of the skin.
Soon after it was found, leakers started releasing the skin online, and before long, it had spread across the entirety of the player base, all wondering where it came from and how to get it in BO6.
For now, we are not aware of how the Redacted operator skin is obtained; we have simply seen it in use in lobbies by players who have hacked their way to Prestige Master, not just the data miners. This has, therefore, led many people to believe that once players attain Prestige Master in Black Ops 6, they will have to level 1,000.
Each of the ten Prestige levels in BO6 comprises fifty-five levels. Completing the tenth prestige will unlock the prestige master, adding 1,000 more levels to the game. Current thinking holds that you can get the secret skin in Prestige Master by leveling up to 1,000. See our tutorial for more information about Prestige in BO6.
This is only one of a multitude of places that the Redacted skin could pop up as a reward. It may be related to the Dark Ops challenges, offering a prize for finding and completing a series of tasks that were hidden within both the multiplayer and Zombies mode.
No matter how the skin is actually supposed to become unlocked, Treyarch clearly wanted it to be a secret, and it's likely nobody will ever have to wait a very long time in order to get it legally. Neither Treyarch nor Activision have commented on the issue as of yet, probably because they're waiting for the skin to be obtained legitimately first.
