Donkey Kong Bananza, released on July 17, 2025, offers players a delightful customization system for Pauline, allowing her to sport various outfits that not only change her appearance but also provide valuable gameplay perks. With a total of 27 attire options, including her default one, players can collect and upgrade these outfits to enhance their adventure.

How to Get Pauline's Outfits in Donkey Kong Bananza

Most of Pauline's outfits are acquired by purchasing them from Style Shops located within dedicated layers of the game. There are eight such shops, each containing three outfits. The only exceptions are outfits obtained through completion-related objectives.Purchasing Outfits:
  • Cost Structure:
    • The first two outfits in any given set from a Style Shop will cost five common fossils from that shop's specific layer.
    • The third outfit in the set will cost ten common fossils from that layer.
  • Unlocking Order: To unlock an outfit, you must first purchase its predecessor in the set. For example, to buy the Lilac Lagoon Vest, you must first acquire the Cyan Lagoon Vest.
Upgrading Outfits:
  • Set-Based Upgrades: A convenient feature is that upgrading one outfit within a set automatically levels up the other two outfits in that same set.
  • Upgrade Costs:
    • Level 2 upgrades cost ten common fossils.
    • Level 3 upgrades require three rare fossils from the respective layer.
