The bustling town of Discounty is full of quirky characters and lucrative opportunities. One of the first major quests you'll encounter is from Tellar, who tasks you with striking three trade deals. Your first potential partner, Karl, is in no state to talk business. He's stranded from his home, and, to make matters worse, his entire flock of eight sheep has scattered across the town!
Finding all these woolly escapees is the key to unlocking Karl's trade deal and progressing the story. This comprehensive guide will provide detailed, step-by-step instructions to locate every single sheep with ease, saving you time and frustration.
Before you can discuss business with the distressed Karl under the large tree, you must prove your worth by solving his immediate problem. Rounding up all eight of his lost sheep is the only way to gain his trust and clear the path—literally and figuratively—for your first major trade deal in Discounty. Completing this also triggers a story event that opens up new areas of the map.
The sheep are hidden in various nooks and crannies around town. Here is a precise breakdown of where to find each one, moving from the southern end of town to the harbor.
By the Curious But Cursed Stairs: Head to the southernmost part of Discounty. You'll find your first sheep casually standing near the bottom of the distinctive "Curious But Cursed" staircase. Behind John Key's Gate: Navigate to John Key's Home. One sheep has managed to wander behind the locked gate of his property. You can easily spot and interact with it from the sidewalk outside. Outside the Antique Shop: Make your way to the main commercial street. The third sheep is simplyhanging out on the pavement directly in front of the Antique Shop'sentrance. East of the Town Hall: Look for a long flight of stairs located to the east of the prominentTown Hall building. Climb to the very top platform, and you'll find thefourth sheep enjoying the view. In Elmer's Front Yard: This sheep has found its way into a residential yard. Check the fenced-in front yard of Elmer's Home to locate it. Under the Hardware Store Tree: Move towards Isenkram's Hardware Store. Directly in front of thestore's entrance is a large tree; the sixth sheep is hiding in its shade underneath the canopy. Southeast of the Cannery (Harbor): Journey down to the industrial harbor area. From the Cannery, movesoutheast along the waterfront. You'll find this sheep standing on theconcrete near the water's edge. At the Fisher's Dock (Harbor): For the final sheep, go to the docks where the fishing boat is moored. It's waiting for you at the very end of the wooden pier.
