Before you can form a fireteam, you'll need to add friends to your roster. The friend-adding system is very straightforward and relies on a unique User ID (UID) for each player.

• Open the Friend Menu: The friend system is accessible through the main social menu. Look for the chat box icon located in the bottom right-hand corner of your screen. On PC, you can also press the Enter key to open this menu.
• Navigate to the Friends Tab: Inside the social menu, you will see a few different tabs. The friends tab is the second one from the top on the right side of the screen. It is represented by an icon of two people's heads and shoulders.
• Search and Add: Once you are in the friends tab, you will see a search bar. You can either type in your friend's exact in-game name or their unique User ID (UID).
• Send the Request: Once you find your friend in the search results, simply select their name and send them a friend request. After they accept, they will be added to your friends list.

How to Find Your User ID (UID)

The fastest and most reliable way to add friends is by using theirUser ID. Your UID is always visible on the lower right-hand side of your screen, making it easy to screenshot and share with others. However,there is also a quicker way to copy it directly.

• Open the Player Menu: Press the TAB key on your keyboard or tap the Ghost logo in the top-left corner of your screen.
• Go to Your Profile: In the new menu that appears, look for your character's name in the top-right corner. There will be an arrow next to it; click on it to go to your account menu.
• Copy Your UID: Your User ID will be prominently displayed in the upper left-hand corner of this screen, right next to a copy button. Simply tap this button to copy your UID to your clipboard, and then you can paste it into a message or chat for a friend.

Important Notes on Adding Friends

• First Mission Requirement: The ability to add friends and use the social features of the game islocked at the very beginning. You must first complete the tutorialmissions and reach the main city area before these options becomeavailable. This is a common practice in free gacha games to prevent botspam and to ease new players into the world.
• "Spreading Light" Invite Codes: The game also features a special invite code system under the "Spreading Light" option in the Special Offers menu. By sharing your invite code with new players, both you and the new player can earn valuable in-game rewards.
• No Rerolling: If you decide to "reroll" your account for a better starting character, remember that you will have to complete the tutorial missions again tounlock the friend system.
