To embark on this adventure and discover the secrets of the Enigma Protocol, you will need to complete the introductory Echos quest. Below, we will guide you step by step through the steps required to access this new activity:

Decoding: The Cistern

Upon reaching The Cistern on Nessus, you will come across a prismatic figure. Approach it with caution, as it will instantly disappear, leaving only a ring on the ground.
Step onto the ring and watch as your HUD fills with random letters and numbers. These aren't just meaningless codes - they hold the key to unlocking the secrets of Nessus!
Continue your way to the Flame Well and you'll find another prismatic figure. Like the last, this one will fade away at your approach. However, this time, a Vex confluence awaits you, ready to be investigated.
Interact with the Vex confluence to obtain the Decoder Protocol. This will be an invaluable tool in your quest to unravel the mysteries of Nessus.
Return to the first location where you found the prismatic figure and use the Decoder Protocol to decipher the message hidden behind the random letters and numbers.

Decoding: The Tangled

The first clue guides you to The Tangled, an area accessible through Artifact's Edge.
On your way through The Tangle, you'll come across the first of several large trees. Pay attention, as the decoder prismatic figurine will be hidden to the right of it.
Keep in mind that the clock is ticking - you'll have 60 seconds to reach the next point once you activate the decoder. Make the most of every second!
Follow the path to The Tangle and you'll find the prismatic figurine at the fork in the road. Activate it quickly and prepare for the next stage of the adventure.

Accessing the Enigma Protocol

The clues lead you to a well, and on Nessus there are four. The one you seek is the Well of Echoes, located in the southwest corner of The Tangle.
Go down to the bottom of the well and prepare to face a challenge - a Vex Firewall Champion awaits you. Like other Vex, this enemy is immune to your direct attacks.
To weaken the Guardian Firewall, you'll need to destroy the Vex data cubes scattered around the arena. Work as a team and coordinate your strategies to achieve this goal!
Once you've destroyed the Vex data cubes and the Guardian Firewall is vulnerable, jump through the hole that's been created in the ground.
Congratulations! By completing this step, you'll have opened the 2005 Power Mission, Enigma Protocol. You can access it immediately or revisit it later via the HELM.

The Enigma Protocol mission presents a considerable challenge, as it has a Power Level of 2005. Make sure you're well-equipped and have an appropriate Power Level before embarking on this adventure.
