To breach their defenses, engage them at close range to trigger a wave of slowing energy that disrupts their shields. Two critical red markers will appear on the Berserker, front and back. Simultaneous fire upon these markers will shatter the shield and enable damage.
  • Glyphtouched Buff: Effective communication is crucial. This mechanic mirrors the Dual Destiny Exotic mission, requiring teamwork to eliminate Cruxes of Darkness. One player will observe and call out the symbol displayed on a Crux, while the other Guardian promptly targets the corresponding Crux with their weapon.
  • Fractured by the Witness: This debuff poses a constant threat. It accumulates on a designated fireteam member, and reaching ten stacks signifies immediate elimination. To mitigate this danger, transfer the debuff to another teammate once seven stacks have accrued. This process must be repeated strategically throughout the mission.

Claiming the Microcosm Exotic


Upon successfully conquering The Ascent, Dissent, and Iconoclasm in Cooperative Focus mode, proceed to Micah-10's Conduit within the Lost City. Completing this final step marks the successful culmination of the Convalescence: Budding quest and grants you the coveted Microcosm Exotic.
